The
Rev. Lillian Lobb, Pastor Lillian received her B.A. degree in Religious
Studies from California State University at Long Beach in 1989. She then
attended seminary and graduated from the School of Theology at Claremont
with a M.A. in Religious Education.
Lillian grew up in the Methodist church and was very active in the youth
groups and taught Sunday school. She has been involved with various
ministries for the last 29 years. Based on her research on Factors
Affecting Belief in Life After Death Among the Elderly, she was invited
to present her findings to the American Academy of Religion.
She also served as Assistant Coordinator for the Judean Desert
Exploration Team in Israel . This was a field archaeological expedition
that continued the search for additional manuscripts in the Qumran area
of the Judean Desert where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.
In August of 1992 Lillian founded Christ Chapel of Laguna in Laguna
Beach, CA and continues to serve as pastor. Lillian has been working
with individuals infected and affected with HIV/AIDS for over 20 years.
She also served as part-time Chaplain for AIDS Services Foundation in
Orange County from 1997 until 2005.
